Born in Dublin, Ireland in 1961 I have been into Art almost since the day I was born. I feel privileged to have been born in a decade as artistic and influential as the 60's: The music on the radio, the art in schools...everywhere you went! Even in the black and white world of Dublin colour found its home.

I could cite many artistic influences from this era but in particular the likes of Peter Maxx, Alan Aldridge & Jim Fitzpatrick made a huge impression on me. That said my favourite Artist since around the age of 15 when I first saw a painting of his is Jan Vermeer. In today’s digital world too there are many great artists but the one for me to top them all is Ryan Church who is responsible for some of the best CG concept work in the business. Unlike the majority of his peers Ryan paints the scenes and doesn't subscribe to the photo montage method of Matte painting if at all.

In recent years I have privately taught Photoshop and Illustrator at all levels. Both applications I have worked with for more than 12 years - I don’t remember the year but I started with Photoshop 2). I have been specializing mainly in digital work (2d and 3d) for the past 5 years. I have been living in different countries in this period and it is impossible to cart an art studio around with you, so digital became the obvious and preferred way of working.

With the launch of this site it is my first venture into the commercial world of Art. I will be offering my work, resources and other goods and services for sale here. Needless to say, anything I sell directly on this site will be of superior quality to that offered elsewhere. I will, in addition, be making limited works available for sale as prints through my accounts on dA and Redbubble as well as elsewhere. Please follow my blogs for more information in this regard.

My decision to finally 'go commercial ', has been prompted by two major factors: Poverty and continued requests from people to make my work available for sale. I hope people will buy my work because they genuinely like it, or like Art. That said, at the time of launching this site I have had to launch the Zooreka Disaster Relief Appeal and would be very grateful of donations even, however small.
